Springtime at Historic Fair Hill

In spring, we pruned the orchards, planted six fruit trees and 21 more street trees.
Children at Julia deBurgos and Potter Thomas Schools worked in their school gardens, turning over the earth to find worms and bugs and planting seeds and seedlings for food and flowers. They learn the six plant parts that plants and people need.

Come join us as a Garden Buddy. Jasmine is in the gardens Wednesday -Saturday and welcomes volunteers.
In summer, the youth groups will start to work in the gardens and distribute the produce to neighbors.
