Second Saturdays Garden Workday/History Tours

May 12 @ 10:00 am - 2:00 pm

Garden Workday:
Every Second Saturday this season, join us in the gardens! We’ll be tending to the beds, planting new flowers and veggies, weeding, mulching, and more. No experience necessary; we’ll teach you everything you need to know. This event is family friendly so bring your kids!

History Tours:
Each Second Saturday, we give historical tours of the burial ground, in conjunction with Historic Germantown. Join us to learn about the famous abolitionists and feminists buried at Fair Hill, and the impact that our organization (and your support) makes in our neighborhood.

This Second Saturday Topic:

Remembering Lucretia Mott, 225 years old this year, powerful abolitionist and grandmother of the women’s movement. She and McLintock, two of five organizers of the 1848 Seneca Falls Conferences the Rights of Women are buried at Fairhill.
