"I’m a sophomore at Westchester University majoring in Engineering. I first got interested from being a farm intern at HFH." - Shyann Davis
"My students love getting their hands in the dirt, caring for a little plant, tasting what is ripe. Being out here calms them, makes them happy. One ESL student wrote her first essay about her trip to the garden.” - Teacher at Partner School
“My kids love playing here- running, digging, climbing trees, finding bugs.. They want to come over every day." - Fairhill Neighborhood Mom
Thank you is simply not enough to express what a joy it is to take a class to the library! They absolutely love seeing the plays you’ve provided and they love having a physical book to read. Library visits are the highlight of the week. As a teacher it’s wonderful talking to all of you - your positivity is much needed and your kindness is very appreciated.
