With school online and looking at screens all day, children need real books in their hands. HFH is buying new and collecting used book for Fairhill children. Friends can help.
Put out a collection box, visit thrift shops, order new from our wish list. Drop them at our Germantown office or call us for a pick up.
The books are distributed various ways. Every Friday, parents and grandparents stop at the HFH Book Table staffed by Ms. Guzman, the HFH librarian and Rebecca Romero, college student and neighbor. HFH is taking mobile libraries to Learning Pods and Access Centers in Fairhill where children can borrow the books. The books are switched out every few weeks.
