Historic Fair Hill has long been a proud partner of the city’s Read by 4th Initiative, working to protect every child’s right to read. Recently, our incredible Literacy Director, Martina, was highlighted as she shared about our outdoor literacy programming.
“Some literacy programs happen at a library table. This one happens in a garden, next to headstones that are a couple hundred years old. Under the shade of a giant tree, children and caregivers gather to sing, read, and discover that stories don’t just live in books, they’re growing all around them.
